Dear Dr Ameyo,
As you go forth, I remember all the Nigerians you saved from Ebola by your handling of Mr Patrick Sawyer. Your tenacity and temerity ensured that we today have a country to live in.
Your entire life was one of acquiring and dispersing knowledge. Your last acts were an ensemble of patriotism that Nigerians will always remember.
I pray that God will grant rest to your soul and comfort to those who have been so grievously torn by your exit. May your soul rest in peace. Amen.
